The Village Fund

The Village Fund was set up to raise money for charities by putting on events in the village for the village.                   

 In 2018 we raised £1000 for Cyclists fighting Cancer and All Saints Church. We also helped to fund the defibrillator that has been installed in the phone box next to the entrance to the church. The other funding for the defibrillator came from a grant from our County Councillor – thanks to councillor Brain for his help.

Carols on the Village Green are a favourite village way to start Christmas. We are joined on the Green by the Shipston Town Band at 7.45pm on Christmas Eve, for singing and mulled wine. If it is very wet – the carols may be in All Saints Church.
